Our Story

Our mission at Yala Yoga is to improve your life by developing a strong mind-body connection, eliminating stress, and helping you to become more flexible and adaptable in this complex world. We do this by elevating your yoga practice with the help of proven, centuries-old medicinal mushrooms called Cordyceps.

Using our cordyceps mushroom supplement called Nano FLEXBO, you’ll experience a boost of energy and achieve focus and clarity. Plus, as your stress reduces and your performance increases, you’ll become more flexible and adaptable–both physically and mentally.

How it all began

When my husband passed away due to cancer, I completely fell apart.

Every day was a struggle to cope with reality. I did not want to believe that he had really passed away.

I did not feel like a complete human being…

It was like walking with a dead body without a soul. This was because my mind and body were separated.

But I still had to take care of our two young kids. And I promised my husband that I would raise them well.

Aside from being a full-time mom, I now had to work in order to put food on the table for my kids.

After work, I would do the house chores and then teach the children their school work.

As my responsibilities increased, so did my stress and tension. I was acting different roles and it broke me into pieces.

It is said that children teach us what life is really all about. I found it to be true in my case.

One day, my 7-year-old daughter told me that every time she practices the jazz drum, her dad is sitting beside her, listening quietly. She is delighted to play her songs to him.

My 4-year-old son also said something similar. He pointed his finger to the sky and said, “Look, dad is there, the brightest star in the sky. He is always with us. He never left, he just changed into a different form of being”

My kids inspired me to change my life. I started practicing yoga and mindfulness to develop a healthier body and a peaceful, less stressed mind…

And to build my broken mind-body connection into one complex consciousness.

Seeing as how life can completely turn upside down in an instant, I realized the importance of always being grateful…

And not taking anything for granted.

Because before you know it, the things that you took for granted…

…like having a movie night, candlelight dinner or a family trip to the park…

All these things can vanish in the blink of an eye with the loss of a loved one.

To cope effectively with the ever-changing world…

Flexibility to adapt to different situations is absolutely critical.

And so I started doing yoga to become more flexible and adaptable…

And it acted as a healing mechanism for me.

It allowed me to gain awareness and control over my emotions and thoughts…and helped me overcome stress and anxiety.

Because stress and anxiety break the mind-body connection…

You can’t be physically flexible if you are mentally stressed all the time.

And we know yoga can be very hard for beginners…

Lack of flexibility, no control over thoughts, fatigue and anxiety…

All these things can be very demotivating and can prevent people from experiencing the life-changing benefits of yoga.

So my mission now is to transform people and elevate their yoga practice by helping them in developing a strong mind-body connection and becoming more flexible both physically and mentally…

And helping you gain more control over your thoughts and emotions and attaining clarity and contentment.
